  The original Kreta Ayer Claypot Rice at Bugis Square was founded by Mr. Yeaw in 1980. It was named to the current Tong Chiang Claypot Restaurant when the restaurant was moved to Race Course Road in year 2000. Tong Chiang Claypot Restaurant currently resides in 324 Lavender Street since August 2009. Tong Chiang had always remain true to his Claypot Rice and Traditional Hakka Dishes.
